These Terms govern your use of the FitForge mobile application (“the app”, “FitForge”). By installing or using the app you agree to these Terms. FitForge is published by an independent developer (“we”, “us”). If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
01 What FitForge is
FitForge is a personal fitness, nutrition and wellness planner for tracking meals, macros, workouts, hydration, sleep, and activity. It is a consumer wellness tool for general informational purposes.
Not medical advice. FitForge is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Calorie targets, exercise suggestions, fertility-support content and any other guidance are general information only. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any diet, exercise, or wellness programme, and for any medical concern. Never disregard professional medical advice because of something in the app.
02 Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use FitForge. The app is intended for general adult use and is not directed to children.
03 Your account and data
FitForge is local-first: your data is stored on your device. Google sign-in is optional and used only to store an end-to-end-encrypted backup in your own Google Drive. You are responsible for keeping access to your device and Google account secure. How data is handled is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. You can delete your data at any time — see Delete your data.
04 Acceptable use
- Use the app only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer for malicious purposes, or misuse the app or its supporting services.
- Do not rely on the app for emergencies or urgent medical situations.
05 Third-party services
The app uses third-party services to provide certain features: Google (sign-in and Drive backup), Open Food Facts and the FatSecret Platform (food and nutrition lookups), a content-delivery network (exercise library), and YouTube (streamed exercise demo videos). Your use of those features is also subject to the respective providers’ terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party content or availability.
06 Intellectual property
The app, its name, design and original content are owned by the developer and provided to you under a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for personal use. Nutrition and exercise data are provided by their respective sources and remain the property of those sources.
07 No warranty
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of nutrition, exercise or health information. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data (including wearable data read from Health Connect or Apple Health) will always be accurate or available.
08 Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the app. FitForge is a free application; nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
09 Changes to the app or Terms
We may update, change, or discontinue features of the app, and may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
10 Termination
You may stop using the app and delete your data at any time. We may suspend or discontinue the app or your access to supporting services where necessary to comply with law or protect the service.
11 Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless a mandatory law of your country of residence applies. Nothing here removes consumer protections you are entitled to locally.
